Closed For The Season

Shelburne’s Museums by the Sea are closed for the season.


The Dory Shop Museum and the Ross-Thomson House & Store Museum will reopen on Tue 20 May 2025.


The Shelburne County Museum is open by appointment only. Curatorial, managerial and administrative services will continue to be available Mon – Fri, 9 am – 4 pm. The Shelburne County Museum will reopen for general admission on Tue 20 May 2025.

The Shelburne Historical Society is located on Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq,  in the District of Kespukwitk, home to Acadia First Nation.
