Becoming a member of the Shelburne Historical Society gives you the right to vote for Directors, have a voice on the operations of the Society, and partner with an organization that contributes to the past and present history of the Shelburne County community.

 

As a member, you will receive The Atlantic Anchor, the Society’s bi-annual newsletter, invitations to exclusive members-only events and special discounts in our gift shop.

The Shelburne Historical Society is located on Mi'kma'ki, the ancestral and unceded territory of the Mi’kmaq,  in the District of Kespukwitk, home to Acadia First Nation.  

We are all Treaty people.
We also honour and acknowledge the 400 year history, contribution and legacy of African Nova Scotian people and communities.
