Holiday Closing
As of the end of business on Fri 19 Dec 2025, the Shelburne County Museum is closed for the holidays. Managerial, curatorial and administrative services will resume when we reopen on Mon 5 Jan 2026, although the museum and gift shop will remain closed to the public throughout the month of January as we carry out some minor construction projects. Wishing you and yours the very best of the holiday season!

Winter Schedule - Horaire d'hiver
Effective 28 September 2025, Shelburne’s Museums by the Sea are closed for the season. À compter du 28 septembre 2025, les Musées en bord de Mer à Shelburne sont fermés pour la saison. The Shelburne County Museum, the Dory Shop Museum and the Ross-Thomson House & Store Museum will reopen to the general public on 5 May 2026. Le Musée du Comté de Shelburne, le Musée de l’Atelier de doris et la Maison Ross-Thomson rouvriront au grand public le 5 mai 2026. Effective 1 October 20
