Canada Strong Pass

The federal government has recently launched the Canada Strong Pass, promoting domestic tourism by making Canada’s historic sites and parks free to visit and rail travel less expensive for young people.

The Nova Scotia Museum – which includes the Dory Shop Museum and the Ross-Thomson House & Store Museum – will be participating in this initiative.  Although not a Nova Scotia Museum site, the Shelburne County Museum, a community museum, will also be taking part in the Canada Strong Pass.

Please note that effective Friday 20 June until Tuesday 2 September 2025, admission at our three museums at Shelburne’s Museums by the Sea will be as follows:

Children and youth under the age of 18 – free

Young adults 18 – 24 years old - $2

Single Museum

Adult - $5

Senior - $4

Three Museums

Adult - $12

Senior - $10

Family (2 adults + children) - $20

We look forward to seeing you at Shelburne’s Museums by the Sea!
