Museums by the Sea offers a variety of daily programs across the complex.  In addition to tours and interpretation from our knowledgeable staff, you can plan to stop in for one of our scheduled drop-in programs.

Shelburne County Museum

Join our creative staff for Museum Kids!  Follow the link to learn more about this program especially for our younger visitors.

 

Uncover the secrets and stories behind some of the Museum's most interesting and curious objects during Museum Secrets.  Museum staff will have a variety of artifacts on hand for you to examine up close.  

 

 

 

Ross-Thomson House

Join our costumed interpreters for an 18th Century Afternoon!  Follow the link to learn more about this unique living history experience.

 

 

 

The Dory Shop

Stop by the boat shop to see our Master Dory Builder hard at work.  He'll show you firsthand how to build the famous Shelburne Dory!  You can usually catch him at work Monday through Friday during the Museum's opening hours.
