March, Dance, Row: Shelburne's Re-enactors

18th Century Re-enactment

Join the 3rd New Jersey Volunteers and the Prince of Wales Dancers as they march, drill, shoot and sometimes host encampments with visiting re-enactors.

Up to 8 rowers manoeuvre their large dory-like boats when the Shelburne Longboat Society takes to the water with a dozen or more passengers.

If they're working on a longboat, they'd love to welcome you to their workshop behind the Shelburne Harbour Yacht Club at the south end of Dock Street.

You might find yourself invited to join the Prince of Wales Dancers as they practice and perform their 18th century county dances.
